Nestled in the heart of the captivating Cornwall landscape, lies
an enchanting haven for those seeking a group camping adventure like no other.
If you're yearning for an immersive experience surrounded by nature's wonders
and under a fantastic night sky, look no further than Stay Wild. In this blog
post, we'll explore the joy of group camping in Cornwall, focusing on the
unique charms of Bramble Brook, a larger pitch that can accommodate up to 5
units from the same party or family.
Discovering Cornwall's Camping Delights:
Camping in Cornwall is a journey into the soul of this picturesque county. From the rugged cliffs of the North Coast to the serene beaches of the South, every corner of Cornwall
holds a story waiting to be told around a crackling campfire. The diverse
landscapes offer the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable group camping experience.
At Staywild.co.uk, the commitment to providing an exceptional
camping experience is evident in every aspect of our site. Our three private
pitches—Buzzard's Landing, Medlyn Meadows, and the star of the show, Bramble
Brook—promise not just places to pitch a tent or park a campervan, but an
escape into the wild with all the comforts of home.
Bramble Brook: A Spacious Oasis for Group Bonding:
Bramble Brook, the crown jewel of Stay Wild’s pitches, is a secluded, private area of
meadows, clearings and woodland that can accommodate up to 5 units from the
same party. This expansive pitch spans several acres, providing ample space for
your group to spread out and relish the wonders of nature in complete privacy.
Imagine waking up to the sounds of birdsong, surrounded by lush greenery, with
the promise of adventure just outside your tent flap or camper door.
The unique charm of Bramble Brook lies in its ability to offer a private haven while still fostering a sense of community among your camping comrades. The pitch is thoughtfully designed to cater to larger groups, ensuring that everyone has their own space to enjoy the beauty of Cornwall without feeling crowded. The fire-pit nestled down amongst the trees at the bottom of the pitch next to the stream is the perfect place to chill out after a long day exploring this magical county, unwind with a glass of something special and enjoy each other’s company.
Private Facilities: The Lap of Luxury in the Wilderness:
One of the standout features of StayWild.co.uk is the commitment to providing private
facilities for each pitch. Bramble Brook boasts its own private amenities,
including two bathrooms with huge shower cubicles, high-pressure mains hot
water and separate flushing toilets. Each pitch also comes with its own private kitchen area with mains electricity, hot and cold water, fridge freezer, kettle, washing line and more..
This luxurious touch allows campers to connect with nature without sacrificing the comforts of home. It’s not unusual here to experience getting right close up with some of the UK’s inhabitants such as deer, owls, foxes, badgers, rabbits, many other birds and even some rarer mammals such as stoats or weasels. You can even borrow a trail camera from us to try and catch something special, or even night vision goggles to see what goes on here after dark!
As you embark on a journey to explore Cornwall's natural
wonders, the convenience of having private facilities enhances the overall
camping experience. After a day of hiking the coastal paths or surfing the
Atlantic waves, there is nothing quite like returning to the comforts of your
private campsite, knowing a warm shower and a clean, flushing toilet awaits.
StayWild.co.uk: An Ideal Retreat for Groups: Camping in groups
often means navigating the challenge of finding a campsite that caters to the
unique needs of larger parties. Stay Wild takes away the stress of organising
group camping trips by providing spacious pitches that can accommodate up to 5
units on Bramble Brook, and 3 units each on Buzzard's Landing and Medlyn
Meadows.
The campsite's dedication to creating an environment where
groups can come together and create lasting memories sets it apart. The larger
pitch sizes allow for a more communal camping experience, encouraging shared
activities and the opportunity to bond with fellow campers. Whether you're
planning a family reunion, a friends' getaway, or team-building with
colleagues, Stay Wild offers the perfect setting for your group camping
adventure.
Exploring Cornwall's Hidden Gems: Cornwall is a treasure trove
of natural wonders, and staying at Stay Wild provides easy access to some of
the county's most captivating destinations. From the iconic St. Michael's Mount
to the mystical Tintagel Castle, Cornwall's rich history and stunning
landscapes are within reach.
The campsite's central location also makes it an ideal base for
exploring charming fishing villages, such as Port Isaac and St. Ives or
taking a leisurely stroll through the Eden Project's lush biomes. Whether
you're a seasoned hiker, a history buff, or simply seeking a tranquil beach
day, Cornwall offers a plethora of activities to suit every camper's taste.
Camping Privately with Your Family: For families seeking a
private and secure camping experience, Stay Wild’s pitches are a dream come
true. Bramble Brook, in particular, offers the ideal setting for families to
reconnect with nature and each other. The spacious pitch ensures that children
have ample room to play and explore while parents can relax, knowing their
family is nestled in a safe and private environment.
The ease of access to private facilities also makes camping with
family a breeze. No more late-night trips to shared washrooms with tired,
sleepy kids in tow. Instead, families can enjoy the simplicity of camping life
without compromising on the convenience of modern amenities.
If you are in a larger group, it is possible to hire multiple pitches or even the whole site (please get in touch to discuss this.) – If you have members of your party that aren’t so keen on camping, don’t have the kit or are just looking for that extra bit of ease and luxury, don’t forget we also offer different glamping options here including “Sunset Ridge”, our fantastic geodesic dome (with separate shepherd’s hut bathroom, so it is also possible to camp in this area alongside) and our 1970s airstream style trailer, “Wildview”. We’ve tried to offer as many options as possible to ensure there really is something for everyone to enjoy their stay in the heart of Cornwall with us.
There is plenty to see and do in the immediate vicinity, we are just up the road from the fabulous Stithian’s watersports lake and just a few minutes away from Falmouth and all it has to offer including its town beaches, array of independent shops and some fabulous places to eat out with its huge diversity of great restaurants and takeaways.
Please note that whilst we happily welcome groups to our Cornish campsite, we are not a party site, we focus on getting back to nature and have a noise policy to suit, so no music or loud noises after 10pm please – this suits our ideal customers and helps everyone to be able to have the experience they came here for. If you are looking for somewhere to come to relax and spend some quality time with your close family and friends and see the true nature of the UK’s countryside, you have arrived at the right place!
